The Christmas Connection

A local non-profit organization dedicated to serving low income families and senior citizens in central Oklahoma. The Christmas Connection provides a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere where clients are treated with dignity and respect and can shop for clothing, household items and basic necessities. The store is stocked and staffed by hundreds of caring volunteers. Celebrating our 30th Anniversary last year, Christmas Connection started as a seasonal charity and now also provides year-round programs for school uniforms, fire and crisis relief, senior citizen shopping and general assistance to the working poor of our community.

Our goal of linking those in need of receiving to those in need of giving is met each day as families are referred for services, needs are met and lives are changed in positive ways.

I Want To Donate I Want To Volunteer I Need Help

School Uniforms & Seasonal Clothing Needed

School Connections is a program of Christmas Connection, Inc. that provides school uniforms and clothing to students from low income families who do not have other resources.  New and gently used uniform donations are now being accepted.  With the transition to a year-round school calendar by Oklahoma City Public Schools, inventory is low and students will still need uniforms through the summer.  Solid color polo-style shirts in assorted colors without logos and khaki pants, shorts, and skirts are needed.  Seasonal clothing for students at schools without a uniform policy are also needed in all styles and sizes from pre-school to adult.  Sports shoes and tennis shoes in all sizes are always in demand.  All shoe styles are accepted.  Students eligible for School Connections are screened and referred directly by the school.

Additionally, Christmas Connection will accept “Lost & Found” items remaining at the end of the school year.  Volunteers assist in laundering the items and they are made available to families served by Christmas Connection.  Locations such as health clubs, churches and others that have “Lost & Found” items may also donate.

Christmas Connection is open year round and also has a Crisis Relief program to provide essential items to families who have a loss due to storms or fire.  Gently used items are treasured by families who are uninsured and living in poverty with few other resources.  We accept new and gently used household items including linens, towels, cookware, dishes, small appliances and decorative items.  Clothing in all sizes is always welcome.

Donations of uniforms or other items may be dropped off at the Christmas Connection Store at 5728 South May (corner of SW 59th and May Avenue) or at any Quik Print location in the metro.
All donations are tax deductible and receipts are available.
